I was in awe of Mike (the Kiwi) Butler's wonderful work well before he contacted me, offering to paint one of my figures!! Since then, our friendship has grown and we are in regular contact, inspiring and advising each other. I make things for Mike & he has painted seven of the figures I have in my collection now. We have a great partnership, using each other's skills to the best advantage. Posting work to the other side of the world and back is a concern, but it gets me praying & we haven't lost anything on route! Mike published his own book, which features several of our joint projects.
